N810 Fun

Recently I've been playing around my N810. For those all who don't know this device, there are some links and photos:

It's a Linux-based Internet Tablet from Nokia. It doesn't support GSM, but its successor the N900 does.

The OS is Maemo - Linux. So, it's totally configurable by user.  I've been bored using it so I started searching for Alternatives. What I've found worthy are: Mer and Easy-Debian. the first one mentioned is probably going to fill the gap between n810 and n900. The other one gives to possibility to use all Debian applications with no rebooting, cloning, partitioning or whatever. Installing it is the job even monkey will do - download one package which will do all the work. All you need is patience and approx. 1,5Gb memory free on one of your memory cards.
